Devil’s Defiance

Ex HDRA. A scarlet runner with mottled black/purple beans. Our most popular climbing bean: Very tasty – “you won’t want to eat another bean once you’ve eaten these ones”. Original HDRA name is actually “Daniel’s Defiance” after a long-closed seed company in Norwich, England. The name changed out here – was it a misprint, or is there a story here? From Karlene Herdman, Rapahoe, 2017.
