I remember when i first grew this it was really old seed and i only got 3 plants , but its a really good one so i am glad i could save them from extinction! ! Dwarf plants, the pods get red speckles when they are mature. Delicious as a shellout bean at that stage when they have filled the pods , or use dry. Similar to borlotti beans.
