Sanilac Haricot

Grown for dry beans. Needs a long season of growth, therefore sow seed early to ensure maturity occurs early when drying conditions are best. Always soak the dry bean for about 8 hours before cooking. This bean is the bean often used for Baked Beans in tomato sauce. Bob Crowder has been growing and saving these beans since his involvement at the BHU in the 1980’s.
