Annual Autumn seed and plant swap - Saturday, 11 May 2019 1.30 to 3pm

At our new premises: Avebury House, 9 Eveleyn Couzins Avenue
We'll be set up with a table outside the shed in the carpark area (look for the Southern Seed Exchange banner). If wet, we will be inside one of the rooms in Avebury House (look for signs from the main door entrance)

Seed swaps are a great way to meet and swap seeds and plants with other gardeners. All sorts of seeds and plants turn up on the day. If you don’t have anything to swap but would like to take away some seeds/plants then a gold coin donation would be welcome.

Limited envelopes/plastic bags and pens provided so best to bring your own envelopes or small plastic bags, and a pen to label your seeds. Koha/donation to cover costs of venue hire and plastic bags.

If you have grown any of our seed collection seed on and have some surplus seed we would very much like to receive it. Please bring it to the seed swap with details of seed name, accession number (if known) year harvested, and your name. Please give these seeds to the person on the door who will place it in a box for future storage in the seed collection.

Guardians - please return your seed to the table labelled “guardian seed” as we do not want to place your precious seed on the general table for people to take. If you are not able to drop your seed in on the day, please post your seed to PO Box 7570 Sydenham Christchurch 8240.
